Crazy Quilt Fabrics is truly a home-based business which provides a personalized touch with every order; and is established online to provide you with a service that brings wonderful, quality fabric right to your door.

Among many other things, I am a textile artist who works to support her art.  I haven't got just one focus, but "play" with many types of textile arts; including, crazy quilts with the luxurious fabrics embellished with appliqués and elaborate embroideries with Chinese silk floss, rayon, metallic and several other exotic threads.

 Other main interests include art quilts, appliqué, landscape and picture quilts, and hand embroidery.   I am learning are fabric painting & coloring, machine embroidery, free-motion embroidery, machine quilting, and hand felting with wool rovings and yarns.

Two authors that produce great books on Crazy Quilting are J. Marsha Michler  and  Judith Baker Montano.

Some of the best books for learning embroidery stitches are by Sue Gardener, and she has several titles in the  ”A-Z” needlework series of books.
